VIEWS ARE MY OWN.
About me
I'm Catherine just a fun loving, smiley blonde trying to make some kind ofpositive impact on the world in everything I do.
I'm mainly using this site to personally reflect and blog about my experiences of studying for my PhD over the next 3 years, not for self-promotion.
However, to those of you who know me well, will know I talk a hell of a lot. I'm sure I'll end up rambling about all sorts!
My favourite things:
Coffee and tea lover. Always exercising, brunchin' and dreaming of where to travel to next!
I listen to music everyday without fail and love a range of genres. Hip hop is my jam when dancing with the girls on a night out and even classical music whilst studying!
I love dogs, they're like therapy (we're getting one later this year).
If I ever have a house with enough land, I want an alpaca....yep you heard that right, I just love them.
Sport
I love any form of exercise, I couldn't live without it.
I've tried almost everything; Athletics, Swimming, Classical Dance, Tennis, Golf, Netball, Gymnastics,
you name it, I've done it.

Up until the age of 15, I competed at county level in Netball & Gymnastics, regional level in Swimming and national level in Cross-Country and Multi-Events in Track & Field.
Sadly, I then developed a rare breathing disorder which specialists around the country never got to the bottom of. I had to accept that my goals for
succeeding in elite sport may not happen
and put my energy into my academics.
Since then I've rediscovered my love for just moving my body to stay healthy and I aspire to work in the field of exercise and health.
I now mainly focus on recreational running, cycling, dancing and lifting weights at the gym!
